John Blair is a visual designer and brand strategist based in Chandler, AZ. He holds a Master of Science in Graphic Information Technology (GIT) from Arizona State University (2022) and a Bachelor of Applied Science in GIT with a focus on print and digital media (2021). Before ASU, he earned two Associate’s degrees in Graphic Design and Digital Illustration from Mesa Community College (2020), completing four degrees in four years through his dedication and drive.
During his college years, John worked at the ASU Print and Imaging Lab under the Enterprise Brand Strategy team. Starting as a student worker, he advanced through roles such as print coordinator, graphic designer, and eventually creative services manager, gaining hands-on experience in both print production and brand strategy.
Currently, John serves as the Graphic Design Principal at the ASU School of Life Sciences, VisLab. In this role, he creates diverse design solutions for the School of Life Sciences, the ASU community, and external partners, covering print, digital media, UI, web, and social platforms.
During his graduate studies, John led a design team that developed a 1,200-square-foot exhibition booth for Lallemand Baking at the International Baking Industry Exposition. His expertise in design, communication, and project coordination was key to successfully managing client relationships and the production team.
